The village of Wellington is famous as a world-class center for golf, polo and equestrian facilities. In fact, it is known as the Equestrian Capital of America. Horse business drives about $214 million into this sphere annually.

Among the town’s noted parks is Wellington Community Park on Pierson Road, which covers 93 acres and cost more than $8 million to build. It features a full gymnasium, along with baseball, football, and soccer fields.
