Some of the best summer activities in the U.S., regardless of your age, are 4th of July Fireworks. Barring rain in the forecast, who doesn’t enjoy a gorgeous celebration of our country’s independence.
In our immediate area, there are 4 ways that I know of to enjoy 4th of July Celebrations, though I am sure there are many more.

This family friendly celebration includes an interactive rock climbing wall and live music from All Star Band. You can park at at the Boca Corporate Center & Campus. A free Trolley Service takes you rom the parking location to the Athletics complex. Fireworks start at 9PM.
South County Park
The 9th Annual July 4th Celebration at Sunset Cove (in South County Park in West Boca Raton) begins at6:30PM, as well. This is also a FREE, family friendly event. It features patriotic music played by The Gardens Pops Orchestra, as well as a Fun Zone for the kids. Remember to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. There will be food trucks with food for purchase. NO PETS.
Delray Beach Celebrations
The City of Delray Beach will once again host its July 4 Independence Day Celebrations. This is an all-day event that features live music from the Main Street Dreamers and from The Holidazed, along with an amazing sand castle building contest on the beach. There’s also a kid’s corner with activities that include face painting, crafts, and a water maze. There will also be a Beer Garden for the mature crowd, a custard eating contest for kids, and a hamburger eating contest for adults that is sponsored by Burger Fi. At 9 PM, fireworks will be launched on the north end of the beach, just north of Atlantic Avenue, and will be simulcast on 95.5FM.
For those of you who desire a more unique experience, one that can also add to your Charity Contributions for the year, DaDa of Delray will be hosting their sixth annual 4th of July Charity Barbeque at 5PM. The cost of the dinner, $20 per person, will benefit Healthy Bellies. By the way, if you haven’t experienced dining at Dada, it is well worth a visit; your taste buds will say, “Thank you.”
