The Funky Biscuit

More often than not, most venues host live shows for their clientele later in the week. If you’re looking for a place with live music at the beginning of the week, then you’ll find The Funky Biscuit hosts a variety of local and national musical talent nearly every day.

It’s tucked into the Royal Palm Plaza just south of Palmetto Park Road at 303 SE Mizner Blvd, Boca Raton, FL. It’s always a great idea to check out the calendar for a schedule of events and because some shows are not free. Ticket prices vary depending on whether you prefer seated or general admission. You can purchase tickets in advance online or at the door. If the show is sold out, it will be stated on their website.

As far as the dress code goes, wear comfortable clothing, but please don’t arrive without shoes or a shirt. Try to arrive with an empty stomach because they serve dinner nightly. There’s also a $5 food menu if you visit between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Select drinks are always half-priced during happy hours. They’re open between the hours of 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and on specified Sundays.

The Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery

This laid back venue offers live music aka the “Homemade Jam/Improv” on Mondays and presents an Open-Mic night on Wednesdays. So it’s the perfect spot to relax and have a drink with friends, listen to great music, and avoid the crowds.
