While shopping in Boca Raton can often seem very pricey, you can also find some real bargains (and at the same time support some wonderful organizations) if you just know where to look. Here’s a list of a few of my favorite thrift and consignment shops.

Cocoblue Consignment Boutique

Visiting the areas consignment and thrifts stores is like going on a treasure hunt. You might come up with nothing, but you also might find gold. With that in mind, head for Cocoblue at 75 South Federal Highway in Boca. This upscale, designer boutique in the heart of downtown Boca is offers high-end labels and all at very low prices. The boutique is filled with women’s clothes, handbags, shoes and accessories, with a diverse selection of designer labels such as, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and many more. Like most thrift stores the inventory changes weekly, so bargain hunters will want to make frequent trips to Cocoblue. You can reach the store by phone at 561-367- 7177 or at cocoblueboutique.com

JCC Thrift Shop

The next stop on our Boca treasure hunt is the JCC Thrift Shop located at The Shops at University Park, 141 NW 20 th St, suite C9, at the entrance to the JCC Sports and Wellness building. This store, which helps support the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, has everything you can think of, depending upon the day you arrive. You’ll always find designer clothing, shoes, purses, and jewelry. However, depending on the that particular day, you may also find a selection of beautiful antique furniture, home accessories and even a car or two. You can reach Marilyn Goldschein, the thrift director, at 561-368-3665. To find out more about the thrift store and community center, look online at levisjcc.com.

Tri County Humane Society Thrift Shop

The proceeds from this thrift store go directly to the Tri County Animal Rescue Medical Fund. This fund provides life saving surgeries for dogs and cats that otherwise would not get them. Gently worn clothes and shoes are the mainstay of the store. So stop by and look around. The Thrift is located at Plum Tree Center, 3350 NW 2 nd Ave., suite A22 in Boca Raton. To learn more about their mission, go online to tricountyanimalrescue.com

Perfectly Imperfect Consignment

Some of the best deals are found at consignment shops that specialize in furniture. In Boca we have two great stores that feature amazing furniture at remarkable prices. The first of these is Perfectly Imperfect Consignment. Owner Jennifer Gaffey scours all of South Florida looking for high quality, unique pieces for the store. She does not purchase furniture. Instead, she accepts consignments in order to ensure that her customers will get the best possible deal. Among the items you’ll find at Perfectly Imperfect are home décor, art, furniture, and lighting. Visit the store at 3333 North Federal Highway in Boca. For more information, go to perfectlyimperfectconsignment.com or call 561-756-9267.

Past Perfect Consignment

This is the largest premier furniture consignment showroom in all of South Florida. You can find anything from contemporary to classic brand name furniture. The showroom is located at 99 NE Mizner Blvd, Boca but they also have a separate 12000 square foot warehouse only minutes from the showroom. The showroom is beautiful, but some real bargains can be found in the warehouse, if you’re willing to do a little digging.

You can browse through a selection of complete living room, dining room, or bedroom sets. You’ll also find artwork, tables, chairs and chandeliers. And Past Perfect Consignment will ship worldwide. So even if you’re only in Boca on vacation, feel free to stop by. Before you head for Past Perfect Consignment, go to their website at pastperfectconsignment.com and join the customers club. You can print a coupon for 20% off of your entire first purchase.

In Real Estate we are always looking for great properties at great prices. The same holds true if you’re treasure hunting the Boca consignments and thrift shops. There are some wonderful bargains in Boca, you just have go out and find them. That’s half the fun. Good luck finding that perfect treasure.

If you are thinking of buying or selling a new home, let me know. I can set up a home search for your that will send you automatic emails with listings meeting your criteria. Let me know what I can do to help make the buying or selling process easier.
